Microsoft stellt die Office 365 Jump Start Videoserie kostenfrei und in guter Qualität auf “technet” zur Verfügung. Der Kurs umfasst 15 Videos, die jeweils zwischen 30 und 60 Minuten lang sind. Die Hauptthemen sind Exchange Online, Lync / SharePoint Online, sowie die Office 365 Online Plattform.

Modul1: Office 365 Plattform
The Microsoft Office 365 Overview provides an excellent perspective of the overall value Office 365 provides to modern organizations in terms of productivity, access, familiarity, security, control and reliability. This section will help IT Pros better understand the options and advantages organizations have by taking this approach.
In this module, Adam Carter (Bomb) helps IT Pros understand the Client requirements (both software and hardware) then provides some detail on Office Professional Plus, including a live that illustrates the difference between managed and unmanaged deployments. This section will help IT Pros truly recognize all the considerations when planning for Office Professional Plus.
Mike Kostersitz provides a useful update of Office 365 Administration functionality exposed through PowerShell interfaces. This section provides insights on User Management, License Assignment, Security Group Management, Domain Management and Admin Role Assignment through PowerShell.
During this section, Mike Kostersitz describe the different identity options organizations have with Office 365. In the process, Mike explains the Identity Architecture, describes how federated authentication works and walks through several deployment scenarios.
Mike Kostersitz provides a detailed overview of Directory Sync, including who it was build for, what it does for IT Pros and their users and when to use it. Throughout the session, Mike shares best practices for using Directory Sync, requirements, answers to common questions and coming features.
Modul2: Exchange Online
Naomi Alpern joins Adam Carter (Bomb) to help IT Pros truly understand what Exchange Online is and why it’s such a compelling approach. She outlines features such as Anywhere Access, Protection and Compliance, Visibility and Control, Deployment Flexibility and Unsupported feature sets during this overview session. During this module, Naomi Alpern explains how to use “The Tools” (Exchange Online Control Panel, Exchange Management Console, Exchange Management Shell, and the Microsoft Online Services Portal). Next, she walks us through RBAC in the Cloud, Mailbox Provisioning Options, License assignment and enforcement, Cross-Premises Administration, Partner Administration, and Geopolitical Restrictions. Modul3: Lync & SharePoint Online
Ziv Fass joins Adam Carter (Bomb) to provide this informative overview of Lync Online. After discussing the initial set up and network configuration, Ziv sets up Lync federation and illustrates how Lync Meetings and dial-in audio conferencing makes collaboration easy throughout the organization.
Mark Kashman joins Adam Carter (Bomb) to provide an information-packed introduction to SharePoint Online. In addition to a broad discussion of features, Mark spends time demonstrating how these features make organizations more efficient. During this module, IT Professionals discover where to start with SharePoint Online and possibilities for hybrid scenarios.
During this important session, Mark Kashman shares the various aspects and roles to SharePoint Online Delegated Administration and demonstrates various elements of Site Collection and Site Level ownership. Next, Mark moves to Planning and assessing a move to the Cloud for your organization.
During this extremely fun and demo-rich session, Matthew Burnett really shows IT Pros the power–and simplicity–of SharePoint Online development. During this session, he explains the power users and/or designers can easily perform in-browser customizations as well as “no-code solutions” in SharePoint Designer 2010. Next, he moves to solutions for developers using tools such as Sandboxed solutions and Microsoft Silverlight®.
